Prospective view of the future Cancer Campus®
Sketch of the Cancer Campus® planned urban development A readily accessible biopark, connected to the town, is planned as part of the Cancer Campus® Zone d’Aménagement Concertée (coordinated development zone) or ZAC, created in early 2011.
A ZAC is a public-interest initiative procedure whereby an urban project is developed in consultation with the local population.
The Cancer Campus® biopark will feature laboratories, technological facilities, businesses, higher education establishments, and residences for students and researchers, and among other things will promote communication between researchers, clinicians and students.
The first buildings are expected in 2014 and will all be located close to the IGR and its clinical and scientific expertise.
